Rating - 3.5/5

 Story:

Prakash Raj & Jayasudha is a middle class couple in  a village called Relangi with his two sons Peddodu (Venkatesh), Chinnodu (Mahesh Babu) and a daughter Abhinaya

Peddodu is a loving & caring brother of Chinnodu and both are bonded emotionally. Seetha (Anjali ) plays Marudal role, She is being brought up by this family since her childhood and she is a daughter of Jayasudha’s brother. Chinnodu who attends the marriage of his uncle Rao Ramesh’s (a wealthy guy, who is brother of Jayasudha) first daughter and falls in love at first sight with Geetha (Samantha ) 2nd daughter of Rao Ramesh .

Venkatesh is a honest angry man, not settled in life struggle for career accepts to go to Hyderabad along with Mahesh where he finds himself neglected by employer who promise him a job at his sister marriage and for make him wait. Meanwhile Mahesh & Samantha romance builds and this secret comes to Venkatesh notice,   Samnatha invites Mahesh for dinner and her father insults Mahesh and later Rao Ramesh asks Prakash Raj to find better groom for Venkatesh who is not settled in life.

One fine day Prakash Raj meets with a lorry accident where he saves a boy who tends to be Kota Srinivasa Rao’s ( Venkatesh previous boss) brother’s son and Kota offers Venkatesh with a job and he rejects..Coincidentally both Prakesh Raj’s family and Rao Ramesh family meet at Bhadrachalam followed by Van crash to transformer, Both Venky & Mahesh together to save people in a accident and Rao Ramesh releaises the human values and  the movie ends with a happy note of Venkatesh , Anjali’s & Mahesh ,Samantha’s marriages with “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu” song.

Performances:

Venkatesh as elder brother brings dignity to the role having self respect ,love, caring towards his family. Mahesh as younger brother is cool guy with lot of humour and pure Godavari slang .

Anjali nicely prorated her role looked very decent and Samantha  performed very bubbly role.Prakesh Raj as father steeled the show , Rao Ramesh as arrogent rich guy is fantastic, Jayasudha ,Ravi Babu comes as Goodu Raju.. Tanikella Bharani ,Rama Prabha, Ahuti Prasad and others are good in theore roles.

Technical:

Technically, the art department show be given a lot of credit for visual treat especially the marriage episode without neglecting tiny things . Editing is average, Screenplay is not up to mark, Guhan’s cinematography is good, Mickey J Meyer’s music is really plus for the movie & BGM is very pleasant, Director Srikanth’s narration is preety weak. One liner Dialogues are Good.

Analysis:

Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is beautiful scripted movie of family bonding,  but with slow narration and less entertainment can make little bored . The movie offer nothing like stunts, dances ,CG’s, racy pace or erotic locations. Even after brillent performances for every artist , the movies is not that much brilliant crafted tailor made. Sentiment & human emotions have dominated the cast. First half goes with establishing of characters and second hakf with execution of characters…Overall the movie is a decent family drama.
