Story :
Shailaja (Nithya Menen) is a loving daughter of Shivaji Rao (Sai Kumar) and returns to India after completing her studies. Shivaji Rao is known for his good Samaritan image among the media and public, his only goal is to float a political party and become chief minister. Shailaja meets Surya(Nara Rohit) and is deeply moved by the affection showered on her by the Surya's family. All of a sudden, Shailaja comes t0 know the reality about Surya’s family. What is the mystery behind this? How is Shivaji Rao related to Surya's family ? All these elements forms the rest of the story.

Analysis
:

Director Srinivas Raaga establishes the character of Nithya Menen as a fun loving girl. As the story moves on, Nithya encounters a series of murders and feels upset by those incidents.  Director concentrated more on family elements in the first half and has succeeded up to some extent. Interval bang comes as a shock not only to Nithya, but to the audience as well. Second half begins and still the movie goes on a slow pace. Once the main plot is revealed, rest of the movie becomes predictable and a routine climax is followed.

Perspective :
After seeing the names of Nara Rohit and director Srinivas Raaga (Katha fame), audience will enter the theater with expectations that there might be some suspense element in the movie. Director brings in the surprise element in to the story, but the pale narration has made it even worse. Except Srinivasa Reddy, none of the comedians acts give us a comic relief. Untimely songs and logic less scenes will test the patience of the audience. To make it even horrible, in one of the scenes, a dead body will shoot a person with a gun. So, except for a couple of scenes, 'Okkadine' movie has nothing much to offer.

Performances
Nara Rohit is good, but he really needs to shrug off rigidity in his expressions and body language. Nithya Menen is good and she adds a kind of color to some extent in this pale movie. Naga Babu has delivered a decent performance and Saikumar is ok. Kota Srinivasa Rao and Srinivasa Reddy are  good. Comedians Brahmanandam and Ali are wasted.

Technicalities :

Dola Dola song is good and other than that, nothing special about the songs, Chinna has provided a good background music.  Cinematography by Andrew is ok. Chintapalli Ramana dialogues lacks punch.

Positives :

Nothing

Negatives :

Everything

Final Word : Not a recommendable film, watch it at your own risk.
